Well, this is a shitty turn of events.

It's not that we have a 'harsh stance' on derailing; in fact it's far from that. What we're trying to abolish is every thread turning into some inane discussion that extremely far from the topic at hand. Yes, I agree that when some threads trail off it's acceptable, as long as it makes sense. But when Lonny randomly posts about Stalin or something, and then the next few pages turns into a discussion about NATO in a thread about Toy Story, then that's ridiculous.

If you can't handle that reasoning, then whatever. I guess you just can't handle being part of a community that's just starting up.
